Who is Noacustom?

Noacustom started in 2020 in a small student room.                                      

with old vintage clothing, a sewing machine, and a big

 idea, the very first item sold within minutes on a resale platform.            That moment felt like a sign and confirmed that this was more than a hobby.

With a background and education in fashion and garment construction, the technical foundation was already there.                                                   What began with simple designs gradually evolved into more complex, detailed, one-of-one pieces. Today, Noacustom is an established upcycled fashion label with a permanent atelier in Rotterdam, where creativity, craftsmanship, and storytelling come together.

About Noacustom

Noacustom creates wearable art by transforming pre-loved and vintage garments into new, unique designs. Every piece is carefully reworked with attention to detail, construction, and character, ensuring that no two items are ever the same.

Most designs are created and developed in our Rotterdam atelier. To ensure quality, consistency, and responsible growth, we also collaborate with an external atelier that supports us in the production. This allows us to grow beyond what one person can produce alone while staying true to its handmade roots.

Our Mission

Upcycling is at the heart of Noacustom. Our mission is to give existing garments a second life by transforming vintage and pre-loved clothing into timeless, meaningful pieces. Instead of creating something new from scratch, we work with what already exists and reinterpret it into something entirely new.

By choosing upcycling over mass production, we challenge fast fashion and celebrate individuality. Each piece tells its own story, shaped by its past and the person who wears it. NoaCustom is worn by artists, dancers, and festival-goers who value self-expression, originality, and conscious fashion choices.
